Job Summary
This position provides support to project execution for our gas and gathering project in New Milford, Pennsylvania. Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of assignments. Makes decisions independently on engineering problems and methods and represents the organization to resolve important questions. Requires the use of advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices of own field and related sciences or disciplines, including practical field experience. Consults supervisor concerning unusual problems and developments. Leads, coordinates, and reviews the work of a small staff of engineers and/or technicians.
Key Accountabilities
-Develop system-operating parameters for complex systems to meet company and customer needs
-Directs activities of engineers providing design, specification and cost analysis
-Provides project planning and technical support
-Establishes and reviews test procedures and assesses new technology, material and equipment
-Establishes company standards and practices
-Frame engineering/operational problems and propose solutions
-Monitor system performance and prepare long and short-term facility plans including costs
-Must be able to make sound engineering decisions under limited time constraints -Prepare complex written procedures to facilitate construction, maintenance, and operation of the distribution systems
-Provides complex analysis, design, and specification and cost estimates for gas distribution systems
-Provides technical support to field as needed
-Contribute to the development of the budget and containment of project costs
Qualifications
-Bachelor''s degree in Engineering. Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering preferred.
-Job title and pay scale will be commensurate with years of experience.
-6 months of natural gas /gas transmission / piping, mid-stream facility design associated with dehydration / compression of gas experience required.
-Professional Engineer certification preferred.
- Must receive a recommended score on a behavioral assessment.
-Knowledge of Gas regulating, pressure control, measurement equipment, Gas Gathering and Compression piping systems, design, installation, testing standards and procedures, Gas Safety Regulation (CFR Part 192), company standards and company job procedures preferred
-Lead multi-functional project team to complete complex Engineering design and/or construction projects as well as lead group of engineers in day to day Engineering support of clients preferred.
-Computer Skills: Advanced PC skills.
-Must have a valid driver''s license, provide a suitable automobile for use on Company business, and meet Company driving standards.
-Ability to interpret blueprints/drawings/schematics and other design documents.
-Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with people at all levels both within and outside the company.
-Contribute to the development of the budget and containment of project costs.

Relocation Assistance OfferedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
